Taxi to Düsseldorf, Zaventem or Charleroi
A pre-booked taxi can take you from the Netherlands to Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Zaventem or Charleroi. Check current border, identity and airline requirements yourself before departure; the journey price should be clear before payment.

Why travellers from the Netherlands fly via Düsseldorf or Brussels
Not every destination is cheapest or most direct from Schiphol. For some routes you fly better from Düsseldorf Airport (DUS), Cologne/Bonn (CGN), Brussels Zaventem (BRU) or Brussels South Charleroi (CRL). The question is how to get there with luggage, at an early hour, without transfers.
Travel times to the foreign airports
| From | Düsseldorf (DUS) | Zaventem (BRU) | Charleroi (CRL) | |---|---|---|---| | Amsterdam | approx. 2 h 30 | approx. 2 h 15 | approx. 2 h 45 | | Rotterdam | approx. 2 h 30 | approx. 1 h 40 | approx. 2 h 10 | | Utrecht | approx. 2 h | approx. 2 h | approx. 2 h 30 | | Eindhoven | approx. 1 h 45 | approx. 1 h 40 | approx. 2 h | | Arnhem | approx. 1 h 15 | approx. 2 h 15 | approx. 2 h 45 |
Indicative off-peak driving times. The German A3 and the ring roads around Antwerp and Brussels can add significant time during peaks.
Documents and borders
The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium are all in the Schengen area, so there are no fixed border checks. Still, bring:
- A valid passport or ID card for every traveller, including children.
- When travelling with children without both parents, a letter of consent is recommended.
- Flying outside the EU? Check visa and passport validity requirements for your destination.
What is included in the price?
You pay one fixed price per vehicle, seen and paid online in advance. It includes:
- The full door-to-terminal ride, across the border
- Tolls and any border-related costs
- Luggage (no luggage surcharge)
- Flight tracking and 70 minutes of free waiting after landing on pickups
- 24/7 availability, with no night or weekend surcharge
Enter your exact address in the calculator for your price; it is final, even if traffic makes the ride longer.
Practical: setting your departure time
For a foreign airport, simply add the longer driving time to the recommended arrival time:
Flight 08:00 from Düsseldorf, leaving Rotterdam: 08:00 − 3 hours = 05:00 at the airport, driving 2 h 30, margin 30 min → leave around 02:00.
For a night departure a private taxi is often the only realistic option: international trains do not run overnight and parking at a foreign airport gets expensive on a longer trip.
Pickups on arrival
For a pickup from DUS, CGN, BRU or CRL, provide your flight number. We track the arrival; the exact pickup point is in your confirmation and your driver sends you a WhatsApp message on landing. The 70 minutes of free waiting start after the actual landing, so delays or a slow baggage belt cost you nothing.
